We are looking for an Airfreight forwarder for our office in Antwerp, Belgium. We are offering a bright future in a European company that has been in logistics for 50+ years where you will be given the opportunity to grow in a new, small and respectful team.
Full training will be provided on using our in-house systems.
Job responsibilities
- Independently handle complete course of files (from offer to invoice)
- Import and export
- Register the orders in the company’s own IT system
- Maintain contact with customers, handling agents, airline companies
and transporters with a view to optimal handling of the shipment - Prepare transport documents
Required qualifications
- Preferably already some experience in import and export air freight
- Language skills: good knowledge of Dutch, English and French
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and strong follow-up skills
- Working in an organized way
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Soft skills
- Team player who can also work independently
- A natural drive and a lot of energy
- Not just 9 to 5 mentality
