Our Sales Team is growing, we are looking for the right person to further expand our customer base.
Job description
- Maurice Ward Group is looking for somebody with a competitive streak who thrives in a dynamic
sales environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in achieving the companyâs ambitious
and desired growth. The person must be comfortable on the phone and engaging with new and
potential clients, generating new leads, following up leads from partners, closing sales etc. - Reports to: Business Development Manager
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and
emails - Understand customer needs and requirements
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and
closure - Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects
- Regularly engage with suppliers and prepare quotations accurately and fast
Key requirements
- Proven inside sales experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and experience dialling dozens of calls per day
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Experience working with databases
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
SalaryÂ
- Negotiable, based on experience
