Air and Sea Forwarder
We are looking for an Air and Sea Forwarder for our office in Gothenburg, Sweden. We are offering a bright future in a European company that has been in logistics for 50+ years where you will be given the opportunity to grow in a new, small and respectful team.
Full training will be provided on using our in-house systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee international freight shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Communicate with carriers, agents, and clients to facilitate smooth transportation operations.
- Manage documentation, including customs clearance, to ensure compliance with international regulations.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Resolve logistics issues and address any delays or disruptions in the transportation process.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize supply chain logistics.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to achieve cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Stay informed about changes in shipping regulations, tariffs, and industry trends.
- Utilize freight management systems to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.

Required qualifications
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented and strong follow-up skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
