For our office at Schiphol, we are looking for a motivated Airfreight Operations Agent to strengthen our operations team.
Role
- As an Airfreight Operations Agent, you are responsible for the complete operational handling of import and export shipments by air and road transport. You ensure that the logistics process runs smoothly and that our customers receive excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operational handling of import and export shipments (air and road transport).
- Communicating with customers, airlines, and carriers.
- Preparing and checking import and export documentation.
- Advising and informing customers about the status and progress of their shipments.
- Monitoring and resolving issues in the logistics process in a timely manner.
- Ensuring accurate and complete administration.
What we ask
- Experience in freight forwarding or the logistics sector and/or a relevant logistics education is an
advantage. - Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proactive and solution-oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
