Freight agent for import shipments
Job description
- Preparation of offers for customers and agents
- Negotiations with suppliers
- Daily contact with customers, agents, shipping companies, hauliers, etc.
- Handling all documentation related to shipments
- Tracking shipments and planning deliveries
- Daily operation of the department – including invoicing and general administrative tasks
- Supporting salespeople
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Danish
- Good communication skills
- Structured approach to tasks
- Good collaboration skills with colleagues and customers
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to be a problem solver, especially when working under pressure
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Business acumen
- Proactive
