Freight agent for import shipments

Job description

  • Preparation of offers for customers and agents
  • Negotiations with suppliers
  • Daily contact with customers, agents, shipping companies, hauliers, etc.
  • Handling all documentation related to shipments
  • Tracking shipments and planning deliveries
  • Daily operation of the department – including invoicing and general administrative tasks
  • Supporting salespeople

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Danish
  • Good communication skills
  • Structured approach to tasks
  • Good collaboration skills with colleagues and customers
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to be a problem solver, especially when working under pressure
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Business acumen
