Maurice Ward Ireland continues to strengthen its commitment to quality, compliance, and operational excellence through the successful renewal and achievement of important industry certifications.

Shannon and Dublin offices have successfully renewed their certification as IAA Approved Hauliers, demonstrating the company’s continued commitment to maintaining the high operational standards required by the Irish Aviation Authority.

Additionally, from 1 June 2026, MW Ireland has officially achieved Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Certification, enhancing its capability to support customers in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostics sectors.

This certification follows a successful audit of GDP in May 2026 where auditors observed the strong quality systems and security controls, regulatory compliance and well-maintained operational processes of Maurice Ward Ireland. The audit also identified and acknowledged the company’s commitment to staff training, documentation management, temperature-controlled transport, and quality assurance practices.

Operating from Shannon and Dublin, Maurice Ward Ireland offers multimodal logistics solutions including air, sea and road freight services, customs support and specialised transport capabilities. The new GDP certification further enhances the company’s capability to deliver compliant and reliable supply chain solutions to customers operating in highly regulated industries.

These achievements reflect the dedication and professionalism of the Maurice Ward Ireland team. We thank all colleagues involved for their contribution and continued commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.

The business owner used the pioneering transport more as a PR stunt to celebrate the opening of his store, with the bundle of silk cut into individual pieces and glued onto souvenir postcards.
