AOG Support, Aviation
Logistics, One Network:
MWG at MRO Europe 2026

November 03, 2026

A grounded aircraft can be extremely costly for airlines on many fronts: financially, in terms of crew and equipment scheduling, and for their passengers. Behind every recovery is a chain of parts, people and paperwork. On 28-29 October, that chain met at RAI Amsterdam for MRO Europe 2026, and Maurice Ward Group was there.

MRO Europe 2026

Like every year, we took our place at Stand 5-1216 with more than 50 years of logistics expertise behind us. MRO Europe is where the aftermarket comes together: 630+ exhibitors and 11,500+ attendees, from airlines and lessors to MROs, OEMs and suppliers. Aircraft stay in service only when that network works, and logistics is the link between its parts. That is why we are in the room.

Eight colleagues from across our network represented the company: Boryana Atanasova (Bulgaria), Suzan Erdogan (Turkey), Martin Klijn (the Netherlands), Jacky Bordet (France), Gagandeep Singh (United Kingdom), Gerard Hall and Gary McGettrick (Ireland) and Viktor Juhász (Hungary). Visitors got local market knowledge backed by international reach.

How We Keep Aviation Moving

When parts, people or paperwork can’t wait, we get them moving. With parts supply tight and airlines operating with little room for disruption, speed is what separates a delay from a grounding. Our Aerospace and Aviation team presented:

  • 24/7/365 AOG support
  • Time-critical freight
  • Onboard courier services
  • Aircraft charters
  • Customs clearance
  • Shipment tracking

Every conversation came back to one point: reliable logistics keep aircraft flying.

Industry Insights

Amsterdam gave us what we came for. Day one brought a constant stream of visitors and prospective customers until the exhibition closed. We held countless conversations, made new contacts and introduced MWG to a wide range of aviation professionals. On day two, we met existing partners and potential customers, exchanged contacts and explored where we can work together next. We built strong relationships with new partners and exchanged expertise with the people shaping aviation logistics.

“MRO Europe 2026 was a great success, not only from a networking and business development perspective, but also in terms of internal collaboration,” said Viktor Juhász. Working side by side gave our colleagues stronger personal connections and a clearer understanding of each other’s markets and capabilities, which makes cross-border cooperation faster and smoother every day.

Looking Ahead

We leave Amsterdam with new connections, stronger partnerships and a more closely aligned team. MRO Europe, where the aviation aftermarket comes together, returns to RAI Amsterdam in 2027, and we will build on this momentum. Our commitment stays the same: be ready when it matters most.

The first ever ‘cargo only’ flight was recorded in November 1910 in the USA, using a Wright Model B aeroplane that flew 65 miles carrying a package of silk. The business owner used the pioneering transport more as a PR stunt to celebrate the opening of his store, with the bundle of silk cut into individual pieces and glued onto souvenir postcards.
