As part of this ongoing investment, we are upgrading our fleet with 25 new tractor units for our mega trailers. Each vehicle meets the latest Euro 6 emission standards, helping to reduce harmful exhaust emissions and support cleaner road freight operations across Europe.
The new tractors will serve our wider transport network, including, but not limited to, our long-established routes to Spain, Germany, Hungary, France, the UK and Benelux. Equipped with 480 horsepower and reinforced front axles, they are designed to provide the dependable performance required for long-distance European road transport.
Reliable road freight depends on the people behind the wheel. The new tractors provide independent air conditioning and internal night locks for greater comfort and safety during rest periods.
This fleet renewal reflects our continued commitment to reliability, lower emissions and driver safety. By investing in modern vehicles, Maurice Ward Group is building a more sustainable road transport fleet for the future.

The first ever ‘cargo only’ flight was recorded in November 1910 in the USA, using a Wright Model B aeroplane that flew 65 miles carrying a package of silk.
