To celebrate this milestone, Mrs Sung Ae invited her colleagues to join her in trying on traditional Korean costumes at the Korean Cultural Center in Vienna.

“It was not only a unique and enjoyable experience but also an opportunity to acknowledge and reward our team’s exceptional collaboration,” says Mrs Sung Ae. “As a small, compact team, we foster a family-like atmosphere rather than a collegial one. This familial dynamic extends to our customers as well”.

Maurice Ward Austria, just like other Maurice Ward branch offices, offers a comprehensive range of services, encompassing the entire supply chain. This includes everything from air/sea freight to road and rail transport. Notably, they have gained significant experience in handling sensitive shipments for the production of semiconductors, particularly to Korea and Taiwan.

Mr. Ionut plays a pivotal role by cooperating and overseeing all processes with great commitment and responsibility, like all other colleagues, to find good solutions for our customers in the air and sea freight departments. Additionally, the team has Ms. Faith and Mr. Jiri handling air cargo export, while Ms. Sunhui is responsible for imports. Mr. Danijel collaborates with Mr. Ionut in managing sea freight and handling shipments from simple LCL to oversized transports.

“Sharing this type of companionship with my colleagues is something I cherish, and I am delighted to introduce our team to others in the same spirit of unity and collaboration”,- adds Mrs. Sung Ae.

With a dedicated team like that and specialized expertise in sensitive shipments, Maurice Ward Austria continues to uphold the highest standards of service in the industry.

The first ever ‘cargo only’ flight was recorded in November 1910 in the USA, using a Wright Model B aeroplane that flew 65 miles carrying a package of silk. The business owner used the pioneering transport more as a PR stunt to celebrate the opening of his store, with the bundle of silk cut into individual pieces and glued onto souvenir postcards.
